Who we are

SAMS Norway is a business cluster focusing on development of systems for sustainable autonomous transport solutions used on land, air and sea. Within the field of mobility, we are a national non- profit member organization that works closely with our partners to reach common goals.

In 2018, SAMS Norway became part of the ARENA programme – a three-year cluster program owned by Innovation Norway, SIVA and the Norwegian Research Council.

As a SAMS partner we become part of the autonomous technology cluster in Norway, find valuable partners for our R&D projects, and are invited to all relevant workshops and seminars. Being a SAMS partner gives us access to unique competence from other Norwegian companies working within similar business areas. Having a Norwegian cluster for autonomous transport makes all of us stronger. We can learn from each other, enabling us to develop better solutions for our customers.

The advantage with the cluster for us as a partner, is to build and share competence in order to develop better solutions faster than as a single player. We need to act and use the opportunity we have right know – before global giants investigate billions and take away our potential. This can only be done if we continue to cooperate and share knowledge and competence. I am convinced that transparency and close cooperation is the key to success to reach our goal. With the intention to contribute with my competence and knowledge from CGI and help other partners in the cluster.

Through SAMS we cooperate with a number of different partners to reach our sustainability goals, delivering better solutions and achieve small and large goals both nationally and internationally.
